True to our beginnings, we worked closely with English Heritage to retain and reinstate period features within this elegant 18th century townhouse. High ceilings, intricate cornicing and delicate gilding characterised by the Georgian period, define this beautiful home. Architectural features are accentuated with a subtle, harmonious colour palette of black, beige and gold that provides visual continuity throughout. Sumptuous textures and finishes infuse the rooms with luxury; Kediri silk encases the Chesterfield sofas in the drawing room and a beautiful Lalique console table is juxtaposed between two antique mirrors in the hallway. Providing a dramatic contrast, contemporary, sleek surfaces are evident in the streamlined kitchen, whilst the stunning bathrooms have been designed to meet the requirements of 21st century living.
The result is a superbly opulent residence, created to marry comfort and elegance whilst remaining true to the building’s quintessential British heritage.
